Immortal Items for Compendium Owners

After goal 6 was finally reached every anticipated the arrival of the newly created immortal item. However i don’t think many people predicted that there would be a collection of different immortal items that added a brand new animations to the hero’s when the immortal item is equipped. Compendium owners will have logged onto the Dota2 network to find that they had an Immortal Reliquary that, when opened, would gift the owner one of the various immortal items. The five immortal items are;

As you can see from the images the new immortal item for Kunkka adds the animation of the whale appearing in Kunkka’s torrent of water. This is one of the more obvious new animations, as a result, Kunkka’s new immortal blade and animation have become the most sort after immortal item. If this immortal item was not inside your Immortal Reliquary you can still trade for it or even buy the sword from the community market – purchase sword here.

Trade Player Card for Player Card via Bots

The compendium owners will need to collect as many of the player cards as they can in order to obtain all the smeevil rewards. Doing this can be rather long winded as you will need to trade away your doubles and try and get all of the cards you need. There is a faster way of trading away your doubles than heading over to trading websites and waiting for someone to respond to you with an offer, you can use a bot that has been set up to trade player cards only. This system works as follows, you trade in your doubles or spare player cards and the bot will give you a credit, with this credit you can spend it on one of the other player cards the bot currently has in stock.

Trade with Bots

Dota2 GrillHound Courier Full Effect (Star Ladder V)

The ‘GrillHound’ is not the newest of couriers, but every time I use it in a public match of Dota2 at least one person will pass comment on the courier or ask me how I managed to get myself one.

The ‘GrillHound’ courier is unlocked when you buy a ticket to watch the Star Ladder V tournament in the Dota2 client. The courier will have no real smoke effect (UE) around the hounds heads until you have viewed 100+ Star Ladder V games. The Star Ladder V is a good tournament to watch and it was the last one featuring the team No Tide Hunter (NTH) before they became The Alliance.

If you don’t want to watch 100 games though you can simply purchase the courier from the Steam Community Market or you can trade for the grill hound either in the Dota2 Client or on one of the dedicated trading websites.
