During the ti3 there have been some fancy tricks using chen and puck to refill bottles and heal without ever leaving the lane, but Na’Vi took it to a whole new level yesterday with Pudge and Chen. If you do not knwo what I am talking about because you missed the game then you NEED to watch this highlight video put together by DotaCinema. Chen has an ability to send an allied hero back to base to heal, and Na’vi used the ability while Dendi hooked a player with Pudge sending them both back to the base.

The Latest 14 Hero Sets
The update finally arrived last night, bringing lots of new equipment and sets for everyone to buy. These new sets are some of the best ones I have seen in a while, and as more people play the game these sets will get better and better as more people start to create their own. The new sets are for the following heroes: Bloodseeker, Drow, Morphling, NYX Assassin, Ogre Magi, Phantom Assassin, Pudge, Queen of Pain, Riki, Rubick , Slark , Spectre, Templar Assassin and Skeleton King. Immortal Items for Compendium Owners
After goal 6 was finally reached every anticipated the arrival of the newly created immortal item. However i don’t think many people predicted that there would be a collection of different immortal items that added a brand new animations to the hero’s when the immortal item is equipped. Compendium owners will have logged onto the Dota2 network to find that they had an Immortal Reliquary that, when opened, would gift the owner one of the various immortal items. The five immortal items are;

As you can see from the images the new immortal item for Kunkka adds the animation of the whale appearing in Kunkka’s torrent of water. This is one of the more obvious new animations, as a result, Kunkka’s new immortal blade and animation have become the most sort after immortal item. If this immortal item was not inside your Immortal Reliquary you can still trade for it or even buy the sword from the community market – purchase sword here.

Its almost time to update your DotA2 again. After you start playing for a while you may notice that an update comes out every Thursday(ish) but your never really too sure what’s in it. For a brief overview though Lion is now more lion like and more tutorials are on their way as well as a couple of bug fixes and new pennants (The Alliance & Dignitas) as well as a rather interesting new outfit for Night Stalker… and some new equipment for Juggernaut and Pudge.
